South Australia has a dedicated electronics industry association – again
The new Electronics Industry Development Adelaide (EIDA) intends to develop and promote the electronics industry and profession in South Australia.
Donald Kay is Chairman of the new group with Ronald Grill, who called for support for the industry (Advertiser 26 May, 2015, p.25) as Information and Public Officer.
SA’s former Electronics Industry Association (EIA) merged with the ICT Council to form the Technology Industry Association (TIA) in 2008.
In May, TIA President Nigel Hall said “it would be a shame to see such groups established outside of the TIA”
The EIDA has a website and forum at http://eida.asn.au
