From Australian Govt Department of Employment
The Australian Government’s Youth Jobs PaTH (Prepare-Trial-Hire) program makes it easier for businesses to find and recruit a young person. The program includes the opportunity for a business to trial a young person in a work experience placement (called a PaTH internship).
The Government will offer businesses a financial incentive payment to help cover the costs of hosting the intern.
Already many businesses are taking up this new program with internships underway across a variety of industries.
To help you understand how it works and to help you promote the program to your members, I have attached an extract of our promotional kit with information for publication and circulation.
