The Electronics Industry Development Adelaide (EIDA) Foundation Dinner will be held at the Adelaide Pavilion on Friday 26 August.
This gathering will be an opportunity for all EIDA members, guests and electronics industry supporters to network with colleagues, meet new contacts and celebrate the foundation of this new organisation dedicated to the development and promotion of the Adelaide electronics industry.
The Guest Speaker will be Professor Goran Roos, internationally renowned authority on regional economic development.
Professor Roos will speak on the future in the current ‘innovation environment’ for a small to medium sized city like Adelaide in a high cost operating environment. He will compare the strengths and weaknesses of small and large cities and their implications for economic growth. He will discuss the role of the electronics industry in contributing to the necessary increase in economic complexity required on both State and National level.

We are looking to put together a slide show of companies in the Adelaide Electronics Industry for this event (and any others). Each company is invited to submit a single slide power point (4:3) for this. We find it is the best way to explain to those not in the industry what the industry is about. – you get your company exposed at evens even when you are not there. Typically a slide would be a single full frame product image, your company name and logo and a short catch phrase – “Delivering clean water to the world”. Please email them to donald@donalan.com.au as soon as possible.
