Applidyne is an Adelaide-based design engineering company specialising in product design across a number of engineering disciplines in diverse fields including medical, automotive, mining, agricultural, defence and consumer goods. The company was founded in 1993 by Paul van der Loo, whose background in defence engineering has been augmented by a team of engineers across mechanical, mechatronics and electronic engineering disciplines.

Services include design, research and development (R&D), analysis, validation and project management in a seamless multi-disciplinary approach to product development and design. Through creative analysis of client problems several patented designs have been produced and Applidyne has also received prestigious Australian Design Awards.

Applidyne is experienced in assisting clients seeking Government assistance for R&D including the AusIndustry Commercial Ready grant scheme, the R&D tax incentive, Climate Ready, Skills and Knowledge grants and State Government Innovation Voucher schemes.  Applidyne is a Registered Service Provider (RSP) which makes the R&D tax incentive more accessible to many clients.
