    The $40 charge for this event includes finger food and one drink – can be alcoholic or not but only beer, cider and wine. Thanks.

    Industry Breakfast – 27 April: Adelaide electronics industry, education, research and government representatives enjoyed the address by Dr Andrew Skinner, Founder and Director of Measurement Engineering Australia Pty Ltd (MEA).

    Guest Speaker, Dr Andrew Skinner described his experiences in the electronics industry in Australia and overseas with a large mining company. After returning to South Australia he founded Measurement Engineering Australia (MEA), Adelaide-based designer and manufacturer of environmental monitoring systems for agriculture and the renewable energy sector. Dr Skinner spoke of the changes in the industry during his 40+ years. He also described his exciting new developments in sensor technology for application in viticulture and horticulture. This development could revolutionise the controlled application of water and nutrients to these crops.

    EIDA Site Visit to University of Adelaide, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

    Your new electronics organisation – Electronic Industry Development Adelaide (EIDA) thanks the Head of School, Professor Cheng-Chew Lim for arranging this visit to their new facilities.

    Program: A briefing by researchers on their current projects, a tour of the research laboratories, a display of honours student projects, followed by productive networking by industry and research representatives.

    RSVP: Registration is required and please note that places are limited.
